Background

Kush Jain spent six years at the intersection of enterprise finance and software — first as a finance analyst at a large manufacturing conglomerate, where he spent two years manually reconciling billing discrepancies across SAP and Salesforce, and later as a product lead at a B2B SaaS company where he saw the same problem from the other side of the table.

The insight

Every quarter, Kush's team would run a revenue reconciliation exercise that took three analysts two weeks to complete. The consistent finding: 4–6% of contracted revenue was never billed, disputed, or silently written off. The data to prevent it always existed. The system to connect it didn't.
